Others about Silhouetris:
"Since we learned that Microsoft would offer the SDK Kinect free instant contemplate what that would mean: people with talent and desire to experiment with bringing a thousand and one interesting ideas for that device. Well, here is a new example, and its design is so simple yet so good, it seems incredible that has not been created before. Or at least not this way so professional. And ‘Silhouetris’ is, as many have guessed by that pun of his name, ‘Tetris’ in which we play with our silhouette ." (quemeperdonen.com)
This isn’t the first Kinect Tetris hack out there. In fact I wouldn’t call it the most elegant. But it’s certainly one of the most intense and bordering on exercise. It looks like P90x meets Nintendo, which makes me wonder if it’s awesome or work. Click through for the video. (crunchgear.com)
"Maximilian Wendt and Markus Wellmann have developed a pretty cool Tetris-like game that uses Microsoft’s Kinect motion detection system to create and move pieces of various shapes around." (geeksaresexy.net)
Presenting Silhouetris the Tetris that stars YOU as the hero. Silhouetris has had previous incarnations over the past two years, but the Kinect version above is by far the best in its ergonomy.
